The people who have this disease know that they are very capable of spreading this disease to others because the skin around the area where the warts appear is the best way to spread it. So in essence, people can catch the disease without having to actually have intercourse, which again is not good news. The only way it works out is if you and your partner both have genital warts and there is no fear of getting anything. This is not always the case so the genital warts medication kind of falls short again. With the current genital warts medication there is no added protection against the spread of the disease. This is making a lot of people weary these days especially since there is currently a medication on the market that helps stop the spread of herpes which is the second most common sexually transmitted disease.
It is incredibly sad how far the drug companies are behind when researching for genital warts medication. There is little that can be done about this though as they are working to cure a lot of the more serious issues that are currently taking hold in the world. There may be a genital warts medication that will cure the disease sometime in the future but that is far from certain as they have been trying since the disease was discovered and there has been no real progress. As any person who has this disease will tell you, treating the symptoms is only half of the equation and not the best half to be certain. This is the main fact that researchers are now working on but they have yet to discover what type of infection it is. There is a lot that is still unknown about this disease and that does not make it easy for anyone who is looking for chemicals to fight it. The hardest part about this whole thing is the wait, especially for those who have the disease and are suffering the consequences of it. While the doctors are trying their hardest to alleviate the suffering of these people, there is little more that they can do. In the end there is little that can be solved because there is a lack of resources available to the doctors and that makes it difficult.
